A FAST FUZZY-TUNED MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMIZATION FOR SIZING PROBLEMS
The most recent approaches of multi-objective optimization constitute application of meta-heuristic algorithms for which, parameter tuning is still a challenge. The present work hybridizes swarm intelligence with fuzzy operators to extend crisp values of the main control parameters into especial fuzzy sets that are constructed based on a number of prescribed facts. Such parameter-less particle ...
متن کاملMulti-Objective Optimization for Multi-Product Multi-Period Four Echelon Supply Chain Problems Under Uncertainty
The multi-objective optimization for a multi-product multi-period four-echelon supply chain network consisting of manufacturing plants, distribution centers (DCs) and retailers each with uncertain services and uncertain customer nodes are aimed in this paper. The two objectives are minimization of the total supply chain cost and maximization of the average number of products dispatched to custo...
متن کاملCHAOS EMBEDDED CHARGED SYSTEM SEARCH FOR PRACTICAL OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS
Chaos is embedded to the he Charged System Search (CSS) to solve practical optimization problems. To improve the ability of global search, different chaotic maps are introduced and three chaotic-CSS methods are developed. A comparison of these variants and the standard CSS demonstrates the superiority and suitability of the selected variants for practical civil optimization problems.
متن کاملCombinatorial Optimization Problems in Multi-Function System Testing: Outline
A 5-layer hierarchy of system characteristics is proposed: (1) input-output, (2) input-output relationships, (3) system functions, (4) system function clusters; (5) digraph of system function clusters. The following problems are examined for layers 3, 4, and 5: synthesis of a test case for a system function cluster; scheduling of test cases; design of test case sequence for a chain of system fu...
متن کاملRandom Multi-Overlap Structures for Optimization problems
We extend to the K-SAT and p-XOR-SAT optimization problems the results recently achieved, by introducing the concept of Random MultiOverlap Structure, for the Viana-Bray model of diluted mean field spin glass. More precisely one can prove a generalized bound and an extended variational principle for the free energy per site in the thermodynamic limit. Moreover a trial function implementing ultr...
